Lost glasses found

Kingdafy writes:
A couple years ago, I was on the commuter rail between Littleton and Porter Square and I somehow lost my glasses on the train. I had just purchased these glasses about two weeks prior and was not happy about it. The next day, I had the same conductor and I asked if he had found any glasses and he actually had thim with him in his pocket. He was going to turn them into the lost and found if nobody claimed them first. If I had lost them on a subway train, they would have been gone. I'm glad there are still some nice people in the world.

You are very lucky. Friday night, October 21, 2005 I lost my keys in or getting out of a BOSTON cab on Tremeont Street at Hamilton Place. I called almost every cab company in Boston until I was told that BY LAW they must drop everything at the Boston Police every night. Well that department at the Boston Police is only open Monday through Friday so I waited til Monday and of course no keys were turned in. I called all the places around the spot like Burger King, 7-11 no luck. I called the Orpheum Theater no luck. I did have a CVS Care Card and a Petco Pals card on my keys and those companies will track them back to me if returned to them.....

I guess if the person who finds them doesn't turn them in no law will ever be effective. I posted my lost keys on craigslist.com also!
