The substation
Rozzie's oldest mural is probably the one on the side of the old trolley substation at Washington and Poplar streets - it dates back to the '70s (and it shows). The MBTA was going to sell the substation to a Hyde Park garage owner, but is now reconsidering due to neighborhood concerns about what he'll actually do with the building.

Roslindale has a large Greek population. The mayor of Athens came to Roslindale to help dedicate the bust of Alexander the Great in Roslindale Square.

Conley School
There's a long wall at the Conley School on Poplar Street that's decorated with scenes from books:

The Conley School itself is, in general, a nondescript brick building. But it does have some Art Deco flourishes, such as the eagle that guards a side door:
