Downtown views

There are numerous spots in the neighborhood where you can get really nice views of downtown Boston and the Back Bay. One of my favorites is on Washington Street, because you're driving down the street when all of a sudden, just past the Brooks, boom, there's downtown right in your face - and just as suddenly, as you near Beech Street, the view disappears.

The view is also constantly changing, depending on the time of day and weather. Here's a shot of a ghostly Back Bay from the Bates School parking lot on a foggy day:
