Neon. Garish and romantic all at once. The bright light across the blackened sky calls to you, in a 1930s-Rte.-1-motel kind of way; you can almost hear the sizzle as the lights flash on and off. The Boston area is full of great neon signs. Here are some of them (don't worry; this is very much a work in progress, so please let me know about other signs I should take a picture of!)
