Back Bay Station

backbay.jpg

Back Bay Station is a cool place (once you ignore the diesel smoke) because it evokes old-style train stations without actually being one (or costing as much to rebuild). One of the more modern touches are the giant, circular neon tubes hanging above the Dartmouth and Clarendon street entrances. Pity the Dartmouth one is now sometimes obscured from the front by ad banners.

Those who enjoy history of this type will like my new novel, Back Bay Boston Basement, a mystery available on amazon.com

I liked the book very much, especially learning about the historical area of Back Bay. The book was heartwarming, showing how people care for each other with no reward. Aside from some sadness, it was a "feel good" book to read.
