it also can be used when your talking about hitting someone... example "dude i totally decked that guy in the face" i dont know if thats just a massachusetts thing..

We use it in Vermont too, but also applies to other things like "wow, you really got that room all decked out for the party". And a lot of people here use it to mean "get punched"=get decked. And I've heard it used like that a lot in Mass.
