I remember going to Bill Ashe's back in the 50s it was a bucket of blood back then,I can't say I ever had the urge to go back.it really didn't qualify as a dive because it was to clean.just a nasty clientele.

FirsT The Suft Club was never know as the Cove that is at totally different place and I advise you to stay away, you can not handle it, actually the place sucks now.
the Surf club was known as Zek's
Still a great place to find low life drugged up loser, trust me. Beside have a brawl or too there, I know a lot of them, which is a sad thing
Bill Ash's kinda of sucks since they changed bartenders
