Make that four days in a row

My memory is going, but did the DNC get on the Herald front page four days in a row? In any case, kudos to the Herald for somehow figuring out how to get the Metro story on page 1 again - although I'm feeling a bit let down because I almost had to squint to read the headline today.
Meanwhile, Dan has e-mail comments from former Metro editor John Wilpers on why he didn't just quit Metro after the now infamous dinner, as well as some analysis of why Alex Beam's decision not to write about the incident a year ago makes sense and why it's legally OK for the monopolistic Herald to complain about the alleged monpolistic practices of the New York Times/Boston Globe (basically boils down to: We're number 2, so we can try harder).
