Kristie notes a police-beat item in the Roslindale Transcript in which a Dedham man alleges he was grabbed by the neck, punched and kicked in the stomach by an employee at Wallpaper City after questioning the price of some paint he wanted to buy:

Now I sooooooooo want to go into Wall Paper City and ask for a price check. I mean. Really. I do.

Also in the Transcript:

Malika Faulcher of Roslindale was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly striking someone with a picture frame.

The Transcript has turned into quite the fount of bizarre police items; some unintentionally - this is the paper that keeps reporting on local students hurling racial epitaphs at teachers ("I've had it up to HEAH with Spoon River Anthology, mofo!")
