Boston vs. L.A.

Here's an unbiased comparison guide by Bruce Giese:

                 Boston L.A.

Culture boring repetitive things a constant stream of mindless
with no innovation or fads which have absolutely
            creativity no meaning

Cost of if you have to ask, if you have to ask,
living you can't afford it you can't afford it

City no one is allowed to change A high rise is 3 floors,
planning anything because it's all modern freeways have 37 lanes
historic, so it's all and they're all jammed,
obsolete and nonfunctional eventually Las Vegas will be
                                            a suburb

Politics legendary corruption, bizzare combination of
perpetually left wing, like social activism and conservatism
a stopped clock that's only that routinely misleads masses
correct at precise moments in into believing they're actually
            time the least bit compassionate.

Housing expensive old junk with bugs expensive new junk with bugs
and bad plumbing and bad plumbing

Seasons grimy slushy snow season, 8 seasons: Summer, earthquake,
cold rainy damp season, Summer, fire, Summer, flood,
utopian Summer and Fall Summer, and drought

Overall crowded, grimy, crime ridden, crowded, grimy, crime ridden,
sleazy, and expensive sleazy, and expensive

I happen to prefer Rhode Island, A Wholely Owned Subsidiary of The People's Republic of Massachusetts.
