Friends Booksale
The Friends of the Brookline Library Booksale has over 2000 books on its shelves, maintained by volunteers, and it funds special programs at the Brookline libraries. Located in the main library at 361 Washington St., it is open during library hours, but the selection is best on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when volunteers are on hand to restock the shelves and to help find specific titles. Donations are also always welcome, especially on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
